Obsession Confession Sunday

5 Things I'm Currently Obsessed With:

  1. JC Penney. No really. The clothes have gotten sooo much better and the prices aren't bad. I think their new slogan should be "Not just for grandmas anymore."
  2. Yo Yos. The fabric kind. I need 2,000 of them to make a queen-sized quilt and I estimate that it'll only take about 300 hours to make them. Only. 300. Hours.
  3. Face brushes. Specifically the Olay Pro X, cause that's the one I have. I swear my face looks and feels smoother.
  4. Home Improvement. I replaced the vanity light in my master bath today. I'm hoping it will inspire me to complete the other projects I started (months ago) that are keeping my house in disarray. A girl can dream.
  5. My Kitchenaid mixer. Because it stopped working. What? I thought Kitchenaid was king of the world or something.
What are you thinking about?

  1. 1) I agree with the 'new' JCPenny. We actually have one here in Altus, and even though it's small, it's really nice. I bought that green shirt just the other day but had to return it cause the large was too tight in my boobs. I've got big boobs and I can not lie, you other brothers can't deny...
    2) I've never heard of fabric yo-yo's. But 300 hours seems like a really long time.
    3) Face brushes. This is NOT what I thought that was a picture of. Enough said.
    4) Lighting is soooo important. I try to buy beautification light bulbs whenever possible.
    5) Kitchen Aid fail?! WTF? Mine's still going strong, but I have heard that they'll repair anything on it by sending it back. I have no idea about the shipping costs. For 200-300 bucks, they should cover that shiittt.

  2. 1. I find that I have to get x-large just to accommodate my boobs these days (you'd think it'd be my stomach). And I don't think my boobs are the largest in the land. It seems, not right.
    2. They are my everything now.
    3. Perhaps with a different attachment...
    4. Agreed. I avoid overhead lighting at all costs. Seriously. I paid a guy to turn off the lights the other day cause they made me look washed out.
    5. I FINALLY found the freaking receipt. It's less than a year old so they should replace it. I'm calling tomorrow to find out.
